John is from Centralia, MO and is an outdoors type that loves biking with his family and playing baseball. Lisa is from Hallsville, MO and loves to read, teach and learn about history. John and Lisa have three children, Joy, Matthew and Grace. John and Lisa were raised attending a Southern Baptist Church. John previously served as the youth and associate pastor of Hallsville Baptist Church for eleven years and is also a graduate of Midwestern Theological Seminary in Kansas City with a Master’s Degree in Divinity. While in seminary, John received training in church planting, a desire God had given him many years ago specifically for Columbia, MO.  John is a bi-vocational pastor and enjoys interacting with people. 
 
John loves pastoring and sees it as a wonderful opportunity to reach people for Christ and help Christians discover and use their spiritual gifts. Heritage is full of ministry opportunities and John loves to motivate people to serve the Lord and advance the kingdom of Christ. The mission of Heritage, “bringing a message of Truth and Hope to Columbia and beyond,” truly exemplifies John and Heritage Baptist Church. John is leading the church by example to “bring” the good news of Jesus Christ to a spiritually dark world in order to transform lives.

Andy Hahn - Music Leader

Andy Hahn has been a faithful member and involved in the music ministry at Heritage since he moved to Columbia several years ago to attend MU and pursue his study of the legal profession. Andy took over as full-time Music Leader in mid-2010 when our previous leader moved on to plant a new church. Andy is married to his college sweetheart Kirsten and they are both a joy to be around. Both have a passion for Christ and winning the lost. Andy is also know for having his face prominantly appearing on the huge wall mural at Stadium Grill.
